SUMMARY:Midwest Food Candidate Series: Tom Tiffany
DESCRIPTION:Please note: This event has been cancelled.\n\nIn preparation for the November election\, the Midwest Food Products Association will be hosting several virtual meetings with candidates running for office. The events will give members an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their vision and issues they care most about. Additionally\, members will be given the opportunity to ask questions about their most pressing issues. Please join us on June 10 from 1:00-2:00pm as we welcome Congressman Tom Tiffany for a candid conversation about his candidacy for Wisconsin Governor and an update from Washington\, D.C. About Tom: Tom Tiffany is a lifelong Wisconsinite. He grew up on a dairy farm in western Wisconsin\, milking cows and feeding calves at sunrise. He attended public school\, worked his way through UW-River Falls\, and went on to be a successful small business owner. Together with his wife Chris\, Tom owned and operated Wilderness Cruises in Wisconsin's stunning Northwoods for two decades. In addition\, he served as the dam tender on the Willow Flowage for 29 years\, earning him the nickname of the "dam man." Tom has served as a Town of Little Rice supervisor\, a state legislator and currently represents Wisconsin's 7th Congressional District. Tom is running for governor to make sure every Wisconsin family has the same shot at the American Dream he was given. He has stood up to unelected bureaucrats and coastal elites in Washington\, D.C. As governor\, he will fight every day for families\, for farmers\, and for the hardworking people who make this state great.
