In preparation for the November election, the Midwest Food Products Association will be hosting several virtual meetings with candidates running for office. The events will give members an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their vision and issues they care most about. Additionally, members will be given the opportunity to ask questions about their most pressing issues. Please join us on May 19 from 3:00-4:00pm as we welcome former Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Secretary and CEO Missy Hughes for a candid conversation about her candidacy for Wisconsin Governor.



About Missy:

For 17 years, Missy served as an executive at Organic Valley, helping the farmer-owned dairy cooperative grow to $1 billion in sales while keeping 1,600 family farmers on their land. She understands Wisconsin agriculture inside and out, and knows what it takes for rural communities to prosper. She was then appointed by Governor Tony Evers to lead Wisconsin’s Economic Development Corporation. Under Missy’s leadership, major companies like Milwaukee Tool, Microsoft, Eli Lilly, Kikkoman and more committed to invest over $10 billion and create 45,000 good-paying jobs across Wisconsin. Now, Missy’s running for governor to build a Main Street Economy that thrives for every Wisconsin worker, family and business.
